A Unique Run with a Great Mission: To strengthen relationships among citizens of all cultures in our community. 

Proceeds will be used to fund Character Education through the Community Foundation of East Alabama, provide Scholarships  for students at Southern Union State Community College and to promote wellness and healthy lifestyles in the community.

Thanks to the generosity of a group of individuals collectively known as the RadioLive 25, WUWF's live performance music program has returned to the air and in person at the Museum of Commerce located in Historic Pensacola.

The price of admission is $10. Tickets will be available online at wuwf.org and on sale at the door the evening of the performance, beginning at 5:00 p.m

Join Martha's Trouble for an intimate, relaxing evening of Christmas music in their newly renovated studio, The Sound Wall!

Seating is limited so be sure to get your tickets early.

Dessert included with ticket price, please bring your preferred beverage of choice.

Join JCSM, as we invite up to 12 artists for a specially curated, one-day seasonal event. Shop unique, hand-crafted gifts and decorative items. The Museum Cafe will have savory bites, cocktails and mocktails available for purchase as you make your selections. Galleries will also be open with special exhibitions from the permanent collections and loaned works from art collectors.

Aug. 22- Renowned folk artist Charlie Lucas will hold a children’s workshop on sculpture making at 712 N. Railroad Ave, starting at 6 p.m.
– There will be an art installation on the walls of Red Clay Brewery, located at 704 N. Railroad Ave., from 6 p.m. – close. Live performance by Martha's Trouble.
– Opelika Songwriter’s Night will take place at John Emerald Distilling Company, located at 706 N. Railroad Ave, starting at 8 p.m.

The kickoff for Concourse South, Supper and Songs, will be held at 6:30 p.m. at O Grows Community Garden located behind the Southside Center for the Arts, located at 1103 Glenn St. Tickets are separate for this event and cost $60.

On this day, people across the United States of America will join together and focus on the Love that binds us all despite our differences. We will simply gather in parks to unify in prayer that honors God, declare a unifying love, listen to music, eat, chat, and dance. So on August 19, 2017, we will recommit to a life of unconditional and unlimited love. “We will dress in the wardrobe God picked out for us: compassion, kindness, humility, quiet strength, discipline. Be even-tempered, content with second place, quick to forgive an offense. Forgive as quickly and completely as the Master forgave you. And regardless of what else you put on, wear love. It’s your basic, all-purpose garment. Never be without it.” Make August 19, 2017 all across America, the first day of the rest of your life of being love. Be love, and be blessed by His Love.
